1 Day Tour to Pulau Ketam

Early in the morning of 4 Jan 2012,
I decided to do something before the BIG BIG DAY of mine.
A small island came across my mind,
PULAU KETAM, the crab island.

Pack my stuffs and JUST DO IT!!!
View from the parking

Let's go..
It's 3.30pm when I reach the jetty,
because I went to the wrong place, hahaha.
After the ferry is moving only I realised that,
the last ferry back to KL is 5.45PM.

There was a old grandma sitting beside me,
she asked me to stay for a night,
because there is nice view at night and early in the morning.

Chit chit and chat chat,
she told me something about the crab land,
then we reached our destination.
(For your information, it took me 35 minutes from Klang jetty to Pulau Ketam)

**ka chak, ka chak, ka chak**
Camera and I was busy at the moment.
Imagine, I was holding 2 LOMO and 1 digital camera.
I was walking alone, taking photos with 3 cameras,
people looked at me like I'm an alien =.=

Let me take you on a tour now..

Old shops
(Most of them were closed)

The only temple that I managed to visit

I wish...........
(Oops, secret =P)

Buddhist believes that "release" something alive is good.

"Good Weather"
"Peaceful"
"Money Money HOME"

Then I passed by their houses.

Basically, I dare not walk through it.
It seems dangerous.

**Ding Ding**
::excuse me::
Their transport on the island.

Most of the residents are working as fisherman.
They have to wake up at midnight and start working.

Gotcha, the uncle was tired after working.
Take a nap first.

Girl: Dear, you see, Tsunami is coming
Boy: No worries, I'm here, run baby run.
Place for couple dating (I guess so)

Store room??

Hmmm, yes!!

Hardworking.
The place where people build their ships.

A half-done ship

People catch every chance to make money.
Wife opened a small eating stall in front of the house,
while the hubby is catching fish outside there.

Time to catch the ferry, RUN baby run.
Never forget to take photo.

CNY decorations.

It's going to rain, they are rushing back home too.

Jetty, I'm back to you.
Below are some sunset photos.
Don't know which to choose, so just upload all.

Well, that's all I managed to do in the 1 hour tour to Pulau Ketam.
I will definitely be back and stay overnight for once.

Just Life, Love Life.......

Basically, I love taking photo..
Not photo of myself,
but what I see in life.
Every photo tells a story, no matter it is nice or not.

Here is what I saw just now...

I seldom see old couple in Malaysia, walk into Starbucks,
choose a drink together, sit down and chat.
BUT, they did.....
They talk to each other sooooooo SOFT and holding each others' hand...
This is so SWEET!!!

These guys are from Germany,
nothing much,
just need help to search for a location.
I couldn't help much,
but borrowed them my laptop for them to GOOGLE MAP.
Nice to meet them too.

See, sometimes life is just full of surprise.
I was sitting in Starbucks with a very down mood,
but when I see things happening around me,
people coming IN and OUT, HAPPY and SAD,
I can tell that,
NOT everything is BAD as we think.

Stay happy friends and my family,
a smile helps a lot. =)

Brunei + Working for Apple

I'm so lucky to go to Brunei for this Apple setup event
on the 29th November.
Our flight at 6.45AM,
it's suffer.

Look at our sleepy eyes

Departure

Brunei is actually almost the same with KL.
I thought it is a developed country like Singapore,
but actually not really.
There's still a lot of jungle and trees.
(FREEEEEEESH air)

Our room number

Brunei people are all RICH, I guess.
I saw some HUGE houses opposite of our hotel.

Wondering what's inside

Start working

The 1st MAC???

Act COOOOOL

Sushi for brunch

Brunei Dollar $16 for this

Brunei's foods is quite cheap actually
(don't consider about currency)
Kinda big in portion as well.

Brunei people no need to pay for government tax,
and their fuel are only  Brunei Dollar $0.57(around there).

Brunei got no BIG BIG brand like LV, Gucci, and etc.
So, they are quite money SAVE in fact.

<<<< Setup >>>>

<< Dinner + Supper = Dipper >>

Nasi Katok is a SNACK for Brunei people.
The history of nasi katok is:
there's no snack in Brunei,
so people have made nasi katok
by putting rice, fried chicken and chili sauce in it
and knocked on people's house door to sell it.

Of course they don't do it now,
people need to queue up at the shop for it now.

The most surprise was,
the price for nasi katok is only Brunei Dollar $1.
Yes, ONLY $1 !!!!!
(about RM 2.50)
It's super CHEAP!!!

<<< 20/11/2010 >>>

We had Nyonya food for the next day brunch.

Then the GM have brought us to The Empire Hotel.
It's a 6 Stars hotel.
You will definitely feel your value is UP UP UP while you're walking there.

Cinema in the hotel itself.

Chocolates by The Empire's chef

<<< EXTRA EXTRA >>>

Wu Chun's Fitness Zone
